A month or so ago I read the article Biological Nurturing and Laid-Back Breastfeeding in the June 2010 issue of International Journal of Childbirth Education. In it, the author talks about the innate ability of babies to find their mothers breast and latch on, simply by being placed between their mothers breasts after birth. The article went on to discuss alternative nursing positions when beginning the breastfeeding relationship, you can read the article here. I was intrigued by the methods that they mentioned and added it to my back of tricks for the future.
I hadn’t thought about the article again until today when I came across the amazing video below. In honor of World Breastfeeding Week I want to share it with you. If you have time, its well worth the watch.
Amazing!
